First recorded in AUGUST 2002, this is an mp3 copy of the original CD. Unfortunately the CD burning technology of those days were in it's infancy, and many CDs burned those days were not playable in more modern PCs. This mp3 transfer of that original recording is still good quality but not the best, kind of giving this 2002 a mix a 'rustic' feel like an old needle scraping across a vinyl record to produce sound. This Summer mix typified my Beyond style where I played with Paul Heron in the VIP room in 2002. It was pioneering the new funky house sound that started to merge with more electronic/electro influences. This mix contains many of the truly big hits of the time that defined an era before GHB ravaged clubland and Ecstasy was the choice of many clubber...hence the funky, uplifting and fun music.
